It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Adrian van der Bijl on December 15, 2017 at the age 88 years. Predeceased by his wife Agatha van der Bijl (nee van Duyhhoven).  Adrian will be sadly missed by his good friend Myles Jeanneault and siblings Jacob,  Lies (Bruine-de Bruin),  Cor, and Susan (Heeman).  Predeceased by his parents Rudolphus and Catarina, siblings Wim, Tini, Rika, and Janie.

He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (87 Lansdowne St. Callander) on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 11 am until 1:45 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 2 pm.
