Sager, Alma (nee Vogel)

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Alma Sager on April 22, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Gustav Sager. Loving mother of Rudy Sager (Lise) and Hilda Drummond (John). Cherished grandma of Steven (Joanne), Rudy Jr., Johnny (Gail), Maya (Andre), Jon, Ian, Julia, Bronwen and great grandma of Brandon, Brooke, Josiah, Terry and Izzy. Alma will be sadly missed by her several nieces and nephews in Germany. Predeceased by her parents; John Vogel and Hulda Grossman and by her brother and sister. Alma was very well liked by everyone who knew her, she was always smiling, thoughtful and independent. In the past she was involved with Redeemer Lutheran Church Project for Warmth and Strawberry Socials. She enjoyed berry picking, crossword puzzles and knitting. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Wednesday April 26, 2017 from 2- 4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Thursday April 27, 2017 at 11 am.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Redhead and the staff of Pier 2 & 3 at Waters Edge Care Community for their care and compassion.
