Peacefully passed away at Cassellholme Home for the Ages on September 15, 2016 with his wife Janet and daughter Christine by his side. Devoted husband of Janet (nee Sangster) of 53 years. Loving father of Christine Hudecki (Richard) and Bruce Bourgeau (Linda Huard). Cherished grandfather of Cecilia, Alex and Robyn. Angus will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Bourgeau and by his brother Kenneth Bourgeau (Elsie Brown-surviving).
A gentle and caring man who loved his family and called every dinner together a celebration! Angus enjoyed fishing as a child and adult and was a competitive golfer. He enjoyed being with people, talking and listening, and never shy to tell a remarkable story. He was a master at cribbage and enjoyed wood working or working on projects around the house. He loved a good book, either fiction or about Canadian history. He was dedicated to serving his fellow man as evident by his work for the Veterans Land Act, Department of Veterans Affairs.  Angus was so proud of his children and the home he and Janet built on Four Mile Bay on Trout Lake. It was in this home that so many found memories of grandchildren, visiting pets and guests were created. An atmosphere of warmth and hospitality filled the rooms with many celebrations! Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday  September 19th from 6 - 8 pm and Tuesday September 20th, 2016  6-8 pm, a funeral celebration will follow in the chapel at 8 pm.
