It is with immeasurable sadness, I announce the peaceful passing of Bekki-Lynn Rahal on April 11, 2018 after a courageous 6 year battle with brain cancer. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Steve Rahal. Bekki will be longed for by her canine companions; Sadie, Chance, Vader and cat, Lexus. She will be remembered and loved deeply by her mother; Regena, sister, Sarah and by Steve’s family- John (Susan), Joey (Ashley), Brandon (Tracey), Angel, Connie, Ben, Keith (Tara) and Lil. Bekki is predeceased by her sister Stephanie. Bekki was an outgoing person who had a passion for life. After you met her, there was no one else that you could ever compare her to, she was simply amazing and loved by all. She worked as a CECE at the YMCA and touched many children’s lives, as they did the same for her. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Penguin fan but also cheered for her husband's team the Toronto Maple Leafs. Her dedication to her job, the love for her husband and her strength during her battle will be forever remembered. Bekki continued to help others even after her journey here on earth was over as a proud organ donor. If you had the chance to look into her eyes you would have mentioned how amazing they were and just as unique as she was. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on April 21, 2018 from 11 am until time of a Celebration of Life at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
