Bianchet, Dinella ‘Dina’  (nee Zucchet)

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dinella (Dina) Bianchet at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on July 21, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Dearly loved wife of Gino Bianchet. Loving mother of Jerry (Diana) and Daniela. Cherished Nonna of Leyna, Bob (Maureen), Alexander; Bisnonna of George and Joseph. Dear sister of Elsa (Egidio) and Ceserina (Pino). She will be sadly missed by her beloved niece, Luisa, in Italy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Italy. Predeceased by her parents Carlo and Luiga Zucchet, her sister Maria and brother Carmelo. Dina immigrated from Italy to Canada in 1956. She and husband Gino embraced the Canadian culture and were proud to gain full Canadian citizenship in 1970.  Dina lived her life as a homemaker, raising her own children, helping to care for her nieces and nephews, cooking wonderful meals and keeping an immaculate home.  She and Gino were active members of the Italian community in North Bay and the Davedi Club.  The family wishes to thank the nurses of the Renal Dialysis Unit, North Bay Regional Health Centre, for their exceptional care of Dina over the past eight years, as well as, the D3 Nursing Unit, who cared for Dina in her final days. Funeral Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday July 25, 2019 at 1 pm.
