Donald passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on January 31, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Wilson), and loving father to Dawn Marie Zanutel (John). Proud grandfather to Cameron and Vivian. Donald was predeceased by his parents Donald Bickerton Sr. and Verna (nee Wilson), and by his sister Carole Webb. In keeping with Donald’s wishes cremation at Whispering Pine’s Funeral homes Crematorium. A celebration of Donald’s life will be announced at a later date at the Callander Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 445 or a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
