Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on November 13, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Loving mother of Glen Stratton (Nuket) of Markham, Peggy Laperriere (Stephane) of North Bay and Douglas Stratton of North Bay. Dear grandmother of Jessica and Melissa. Doris is predeceased by both her parents Frank and Hazel Garvin, and her only brother Frank Garvin. Doris was a well-known retired theater manager in North Bay. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay). In keeping with Doris’s wishes cremation has occurred at the Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium.
