Passed away peacefully on August 16, 2015 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 67 years old. He was the beloved husband of Dawna (nee Parker). Loving father of Douglas Jr, Joanne Durant (Gary) and Ken.  He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Joshua, Hunter and Christian. Douglas is survived by his brothers; Bill (Delores), Bob (Eileen), Rick (Barb), Jim (Debbie), sisters; Marylou, Betty, sister-in-laws; Linda Beers (Bob) and Barb Nelson (Randy) and brother-in-law; Steven Parker.  He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doug is predeceased by his mother; Doris Quinn, father Albert Chapman, brothers Jack and Dave, brother-in-law Robert Parker, sister-in-law Deborah Parker, mother-in-law Ruth Parker and father-in-law Raymond.
