St. Onge, Flora Belle (nee Maisonneuve)

The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Flora at the West Nipissing General Hospital on Thursday December 14, 2017. Daughter of the late Moise Maisonneuve and the late Elizabeth Maisonneuve (nee Leblanc). Beloved wife of the late Lucien “Talou” St.Onge. Loving mother of Linda Flewitt (George –deceased), Ronald St.Onge (Karen), Gerald St.Onge (Suzanne) and Richard St.Onge (Claire). Flora will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and her 16 great grand children. Flora was predeceased by her sister Blanche Leblanc (Aurele), and her brothers Wilfred Maisonneuve (Yvonne), Leo Paul Maisonneuve (Marie) and John Maisonneuve (Lawrence-surving). Flora had worked for many years at the West Nipissing Hospital, and for Michaud Levesque and the A&P store in Sturgeon Falls. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of the West Nipissing Hospital for their care and compassion given to their mother. In keeping with Flora’s wishes cremation will occur and have been entrusted to McGuinty Funeral Home (Sturgeon Falls). The family will announce a celebration of Flora’s life at a later date. C’est avec regret que la famille annonce son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le jeudi 14 décembre 2017. Fille de feu Moise et de feu Elizabeth (née Leblanc) Maisonneuve. Prédécédée par son épouse Lucien ``Talou`` St.Onge. Mère aimante de Linda Flewitt (feu George), Ronald St.Onge (Karen), Gerald St.Onge (Suzanne) et Richard St.Onge (Claire). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses 11 petits-enfants et de ses 16 arrière-petits-enfants. Prédécédée par sa sœur Blanche Leblanc (feu Aurel) et ses frères Wilfred Maisonneuve (feu Yvonne), Leo Paul Maisonneuve (feu Marie) et John Maisonneuve (Laurence-surivre). Flora avait passé beaucoup d` années comme travaillantes avec l’Hôpital West Nipissing, Michaud Levesque et l A & P. Sincères remerciements au personnel de l’Hopital West Nipissing pour les excellents soins prodigues à notre mère. Conformément aux souhaits de Flora, la crémation aura lieu et a été confiée à la McGuinty Funeral Home (Sturgeon Falls). La famille annoncera une célébration de la vie de Flora à une date ultérieure.
