Francis Tremblay Obituary

Tremblay, Francis

It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Francis Tremblay after a long and courageous battle, surrounded by his family at his home on July 23, 2019. Dearly loved husband of Lucille (nee Vaillancourt). Loving father of Paul Tremblay (Joanne) and Sylvie Tremblay. Cherished grandfather of Sarah and Julien. Dear brother of Raymond (Rita), Jean (Anna), Michael and Isabelle (Victor). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Henri and Violet (nee Sampson), his son Pierre and his siblings; Conrad (Cecile), Bertha and Jacqueline. Francis was a gifted woodworker and loved his gardening. He was very close to nature and above all else he was very passionate and loving to his family. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday July 28th, 2019 from 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Ste. Bernadette on Monday July 29, 2019 at 10 am. Interment to follow at the Bonfield Cemetery. Donations to Development and Peace would be gratefully appreciated by his family. Special thank you to Dr. Cowan, all the VON Nurses and the North East LHIN for their care and compassion given to our family.
