FORTIN, Gaston Theodore

Gaston passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 31, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 77 years. Loving husband of Monique Marie Therese  (nee Malett), beloved father of Michel Fortin (Stacey) and Marcel Fortin (Carol). Proud grandfather to Victoria, Vanessa, Mark, Chantal and Curtis. Gaston was predeceased by his parents Laval and Ida (nee Poulin) Fortin and is survived his siblings Hugette Champagne (Jean-Marie –deceased), Germain Fortin (Jocelyn), Andre Fortin (Maude), Jack Fortin (Francine)-deceased, and Joanne Bureau (Hervee). In keeping with Gaston’s  wishes cremation has occurred at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay). The family will receive visitors at their home ( 1329 Cassells Street North Bay ) on Saturday May 19, 2018 from 1pm to 3pm for a memorial gathering.
