Guillaume 'Guy' Charles Shouinard

Born Guillaume (Guy) Charles Shouinard. 4 July 1949 is the father of four children he loved , Danny,

Stephanie, Phillipe and Vannessa. The son of the late Alfred and Angelia Shouinard of Mattawa, ON. Is

survived by his sister Kay Kerr of North Bay, ON. Guy was a man of many talents from welding to

building the family home to his last years as a prospector across many parts of Northern Ontario. He

loved the outdoors and what it had to offer and could easily be found cutting up a cord of wood or just

wandering the land. He was also developing a craft for fiddle making at his home in Verner, ON on a cool

summer evening. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years, graduated from Canadore College

with a diploma in Social Work and always enjoyed spending time with family. He is the grandfather to

seven grand children and one great grand child. He will be missed by all family and friends who knew

him. He is considered by family as gentle, kind and very giving which made him the man, legacy and

family patriarch he was know for. We love you brother, dad and grandpa.
