Stewart, Isabel Margaret (nee Small)

2 weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday, Isabel died in her sleep at West Nipissing General Hospital. She was a resident of Au Chateau for the last 8 years. Isabel spent most of her life in Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her husband Duncan Stewart (2007), they had 3 children, Marjorie Jodouin (Danny-predeceased), Norine Dokis (Jerry) and Bradley Stewart (Peggy). Cherished grandma of 5 grandchildren; Beth and Stephen Jodouin, Heather Dokis, Shannon and Mathew Stewart  and 5 great grandchildren; Nicole, Ellyson, Gilliam, Geoffrey and Cloe. She had a special place in her heart for her niece Dianne. They shared a sense of humour and a love of cribbage. Isabel will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Thanks to the staff at Au Chateau for looking after her and a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at West Nipissing General Hospital for your excellent palliative care. A memorial service will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s United Church (Sturgeon Falls) on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11 am.
