James 'Jim' Dumond

James (Jim) Dumond

December 25, 1939 - May 20, 2018

Passed away after a brief illness.  Dearly loved husband of Daintry (nee Bridle) and father of Jonathan (Marie-Claude) and Jennifer.  Predeceased by his parents, Orval and Noni Dumond, and his brother Robert.  Survived by his siblings Sheryl Young (Sonny, deceased), Clifford, Ed (Nita), Murray (Bev), Judi (Bill) Graydon, and his many nieces and nephews.  He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Fran Bates, and brother-in-law Graham Bridle (Kathy); his fishing buddies; and his beloved companion Charlie.  Today the world lost a really good man who will be remembered as kind, quiet, and always ready to help anyone (preferably one not requiring power tools!).  Very special thanks to the EMS, fire department, Drs. Ng, Kahn, and Clarke, and the Emergency department staff at NBRHC; and our dear friend Sue. Cremation has taken place.  A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
