Jane Doyle beloved wife of Terry Doyle for 56 years, died Wednesday December 27th, in her home with her husband and daughter present. She had kept her positive attitude and sense of humour since her stroke 11 years ago but she had been losing energy for the last 2 years. She wanted one last Christmas with the family. With grateful care from Dr. Clint Redhead she had a very swift and peaceful end. She died without pain knowing that she was loved. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday January 5th at 7:00pm at the Rorab Shrine Club. Jane and I had talked often about what form of service we would prefer. Both of us chose an informal gathering of friends to share memories. Of course we are sad that Jane has passed but be happy for her, she was asking to go. Neither of us believes in a personal god or an earthly type of afterlife. The intelligent energy spark of life that lived in Jane's body has gone and is again part of the universe. Jane will live in our memories so please join us on Friday to keep that part of her with us. Donations to Nipissing Serenity Hospice was Jane’s request.
