Peacefully passed away after a courageous battle surrounded by her family on September 16, 2016 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 50 years. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband Rob Elliott, her stepchildren Alyssa and Kayla Elliott, her parents Harry and Mary McVeety, her brothers Mark McVeety (Suki), and Jeff McVeety. Jennifer will always be lovingly remembered by her niece Madeline and nephew Zack. She will also be sadly missed by her “furry companion” Saber. In keeping with Jennifer’s wishes cremation has occurred at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. The family invite visitors and friends for a time of fellowship to celebrate Jennifer’s life lived at The Grande Event Centre (300 Wyld Street North Bay beside Cecils) on Sunday September 25, 2016 between the hours of 1pm, and 5pm. At 2pm there will be a formal time of remembrance led by Jennifer's brother Mark. If desired donations made to All Heart Pet Rescue would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. The family wish to thank everyone at the Princess Margaret Hospital and the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their unwavering support and compassion they showed Jennifer.
