John “Jack” passed away surrounded by the love of his family on March 30, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 77 years. John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gracia “Grace” (nee Gauvreau), and his children Diane Ayotte (Norm), Douglas (Rollande), Todd (Lynn), Rodrick, Tim (Viviane), and Cathy Case (Andre). John will be lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces nephews and friends. John is survived by his brother Ken (Rose), and sisters Noreen Veltri (Frank), Mary Lynn Smith (Wayne) and Murina Jodoin (Roland). Predeceased by his parents Roy and Dorothy (nee Anderson) Case, his sisters Martha Telley (Doug) and Della Jeffrey (Doug), and his brothers “Bodo” (“Dolly”), Gordon (Irene) and Robert “Bob” (Carole) and Norman. In keeping with John’s wishes cremation will occur at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium with no public visitation or service. Arrangements are under the direction of the McGuinty Funeral Home (Sturgeon Falls). If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
