Jack's passing came as quite a shock having shared time with him very recently at our local Club. He was a very intelligent, extremely knowledgeable man with a wealth of experiences. He was generous, and always willing to lend a hand and share his expertise. I will miss his presence.

Nancy and Family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Jack. I know how difficult this must be for you. I did not have the privilege of meeting my cousin Jack in person, but we had many telephone conversations over the past few years and it was a joy to get to know him and to hear the stories of his time in the Navy. He was so proud of his Naval career and spoke often of those times. We had many wonderful conversations as well, talking about our families and it was evident how proud he was of his boys. He was a kind and warm person and I know he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. . You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family during this time and always. We wish to send our heartfelt condolances to the family of John. We both met Jack a couple of years ago at my sister Ruby's cottage in Bracebridge. He kept us entertained with stories of his experiences in the Navy. May God Bless and comfort you at this time. Mike & Sandra (Jack's cousin)

Although I did not have the privledge of meeting Jack in person, we spoke on the phone on a regular basis for a number of years. We always had great conversations and he told me all about his Navy career and the countries he visited. We had lots of laughs and lots of serious conversations also. He told me many stories of his growing up years with his brothers Gordon & George and his sister Joan whom he always called Nin...he treasured those memories. He spoke of his dear Mother with much affection and shared many memories of her with me also. He loved and was very proud of his family and spoke very often of his wife Nancy, sons Keith, Kevin and Wayne and his grandsons. He made me feel as if I knew them too. I will miss my dear cousin Jack very much. He was very special to me and I regret that we never had the opportunity to meet in person. I will always treasure the times we shared chatting on the phone and the laughs we had. To his family I offer my Deepest Sympathy & prayers. May you find peace in the memories of him you hold dear in your hearts. Sincerely, Cousin June & Husband Bob Lemieux
