Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on September 30, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wives; Murielle St-Amand, Noëlla Gravelle and Julia Bastien. Survived by his children; Luc Tancrède (Michelle Peters) and Lucy Tuttino (Frank). Lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren, Mark, Paul, Melissa and great-granddaughter, Zoey. Dear brother of Thérèse Brochu (Georges), Jeanne Gervais (Henri-Paul-deceased) and brother-in-law of Gratien St-Amand (Cécile-deceased), Roland St-Amand (Clémence) and Wilfrid St-Amand (Thérèse). Julien will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Herménégilde and Hedwige, siblings; Antonia Germain (Maurice), Octave (Léli), Estelle Gaudreault (Daniel), Ida Bisson (Albert), André (Marguerite), Maria Létourneau (Robert), Adrienne Lemay (Patrick), Hervé (Margot), Émilien (Laurette- surviving) and brother and sister-in-laws; Louiselle Moreau (Émilien), Marcel (Thérèse-surviving), Richard, Régina and Jean-Louis. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St. North Bay) on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent-de-Paul Church (1265 Wyld St. North Bay) on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery (North Bay). Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society in the memory of Julien Tancrède would be gratefully appreciated. Cher frère de Thérèse Brochu (Georges), Jeanne Gervais (Henri-Paul-décédé) et beau-frère de Gratien St-Amand (Cécile- décédé), Roland St-Amand (Clémence) et Wilfrid St-Amand (Thérèse). Julien va être profondément manqué par ses nombreuses nièces, neveux, sa famille élargie et amis. Ses parents prédécédées ; Herménéglide et Hedwige, frères et sœurs ; Antonia Germain (Maurice), Octave (Léli), Estelle Gaudreault (Daniel), Ida Bisson (Albert), André (Marguerite), Maria Létourneau (Robert), Adrienne Lemay (Patrick), Hervé (Margot), Émilien (Laurette- vivante) et ses beaux-frères et ses belles sœurs ; Louiselle Moreau (Émilien), Marcel St-Amand (Thérèse-vivante), Richard, Régina et Jean-Louis. La famille va recevoir des visiteurs à McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St. North Bay) le vendredi 6 octobre 2017 entre 2-4 et 7-9 pm. La messe d’enterrement sera célébrée à l’Église St Vincent-de-Paul (1265 Wyld St North Bay) le samedi 7 octobre 2017 à 11h. L’enterrement aura lieu au cimetière de St Mary (North Bay).
