It is with great sorrow the family announces the death of Luc surrounded by his family at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on August 23, 2017 at the age of 44 years. Luc is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Theresa Lynne Philippe, and his son Dominic Rainville of Brantford Ontario. Loved son of Fernand Rainville and the late Diane (nee Levac). He will be lovingly remembered by Theresa’s Children Sarah Lynne Brown (Jonathan), Alannah Brown (Alain), and their children Jayden and Jessy. Luc spent most of his working career in the grocery industry. He is well known for being an avid sports fan and some would say a Montreal Canadians and Blue Jays fanatic. He shared his passion for Bowling with his partner Theresa although known by many as an easy out going guy his competiveness in bowling would some times get the best of him. He loved to talk with his hands but wasn’t very handy with his hands as a handy man as there are so many unfinished projects left to do. He was also a very passionate golfer which he shared with his partner Theresa as being members of the Verner Golf Club. Cremation has occurred at the Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home in Sturgeon Falls (123 Railway Street) on Friday September 1, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrow Church in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 11am.
