Marie Unger

Marie Unger (nee Bourdon) July 29, 1926 - October 20, 2016 (age 90). Marie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. After suffering the loss of all her shared cherished memories from Alzheimer’s. She is finally at peace. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Unger. Much loved mother of Mark (Judy), Lynn Landry, Suzie Seguin (Marc), Diane Peloquin (Claude), Janice Unger Naud (Sylvain). Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Erin, Adam, Philippe, Patrick, Carly, Taylor, Alexander and Kendra as well as two great-grandchildren Henry and Owen. Survived by her sisters Irene Marleau, Lina Perrin and Theresa Smith. Predeceased by her parents Rita and Antoine Bourdon, her brothers Paul and Avila Bourdon and Cecile McGirr. We are so thankful for all of the Angels on Pier 1 at Water’s Edge (Leisureworld). We also want to thank Dr. Redhead for looking after our mother’s medical needs over these last years. Visitation at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) will be held on Monday, October 24 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 25 at 11 am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Hands the family Help Network.
