Marie Rose Savard (nee Rancourt)
March 13 1924 - April 10 2018

Peacefully passed away on April 10th, 2018 at Au Chateau Nursing Home. Rose will be reunited with her husband Joseph who predeceased her in 2000. Loving mother of Gaetan (Jocelyne), Richard, Paul (Judy), Joanne Girard (Daniel) and Sylvie Savard Quaiattini (Gord). Proud grandmother of Nathalie, Patrick (Sophie), James, Etienne (Marie Claude), Melanie, Katrina (Eric), Tristan and great grandchildren Maxence, Eve, Lea, Emma, Kate, Audrey, Meghan. Predeceased by her parents Gedeon and Alice Rancourt and all of her 11 siblings. Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sweet memories cling to her name. She was fun loving, adventurous and lived life to the fullest with joy and laughter. Her quick wit always kept us laughing. She was a strong woman with a fighting spirit that defined her in her last years as she battled Alzheimer’s.
The family is deeply grateful to all the staff at Au Chateau for their compassionate care, support and guidance, especially the 3rd floor for their exceptional loving care they gave to our mother. A heartfelt thank you to mom’s angel Christine who tended to her with love and tenderness.
