With great sorrow the family announces the unexpected death of Marlene at her residence on Sunday August 27, 2017, in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Don McCann. Loving and cherished mother to Dan McCann (Wendy), Carrie-Ann Ayers (Jamie) and Colleen Moore (Ron). Proud and loving Nana to Hailey Moore, Alec Moore, Jenna Ayers, Hannah Ayers and Zoe Moore. Marlene was predeceased by her parents Alec McMillan and Blanche (nee Johnston), her siblings Joyce Gosselin (Gus), Eleanor Crytes (Ernie) and Alexander “Bud” McMillan (Frances), sister-in-law Eileen Salvatori (John). Marlene is survived by her brother Walter MacMillan (Gill) and her brother-in-law Ray McCann (Joanne).  She will be missed greatly by her cousins, nieces and nephews and many good friends who were such an important part of her life. Cremation has occurred at the Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. The family will receive guests for a Memorial Service in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (North Bay) on Friday September 1, 2017 at 11am.
