It is with profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Mike Balen on July 8, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Mike was the long-time manager of Rosenberg's Men's and Boy's Wear. Dearly loved husband for 63 years of Fernande Balen (nee Archambault). Loving father of Linda Balen-Scott (Stewart), Mark Balen and Peter Balen. Grandpa will be fondly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Frank Balen (Greta- predeceased) of Elliott Lake. Mike is predeceased by his parents; Dane and Kata Balen. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Tuesday July 11, 2017 from 7 – 9 pm and Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 11 am till time of service in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel at 12 pm with a reception to follow.
