On April 17th 2016, Roland Trahan passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Predeceased by his parents, Gerald & Georgette Trahan and Sister Pauline (Gene) Duquette. Roland Trahan (DOB: 14th August 1944), married for 50 years to Adelle Trahan (nee Desarmeau) having 4 loving Children, Gerry (Keri), Michael (Marla), Steven (Crystal McKenzie) and Nancy Cirullo (Anthony). Cherished by his eight grandchildren, Joey Trahan, Kylie & Sara Cirullo, Janessa & Culin Trahan, Darren (Julie), Paul and Katie Cipparrone and one great grandchild Mason Cipparrone. Roland had a passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his 3 sons as well as his grandchildren. He also had a passion for flying as well he owned a plane and flew for the Orillia Airways. Roland’s work career included, being an owner/operator of a mechanical service garage (Fina Fuels) then transferring to be the first Fuel Agent for Petro Canada in North Bay, resulting in 30 + years in the commercial fuels service. He then managed the Spring Shop at HE Browns for 20 + years. He affected everyone who he meet and will be sadly missed. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGuinty Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors and friends at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday April 20th 2016 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 21st at 10:30 am at Ste. Bernadette Parish in Bonfield.
