BENTLEY, Shirley Margaret

With great sorrow and sadness, the family of Shirley Margaret announce her passing on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Shirley was the loved daughter of Lawrence McGirr and Agnes Valiquette. Shirley was married to Murrel Vincent Bentley on August 17, 1957 at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, North Bay.

Shirley and Murrel, devoted their lives to their children; Anne Bentley, Maureen Bentley, Elaine Lafontaine (Tim), David Bentley-predeceased, Paul Bentley (Allison) and Colleen Grannary (David).

Much loved Grandmother of Jordan, Kelsey, Colin, Jacob, Sean, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Lilith-predeceased, Zoe, Sam, Annabelle, Quinn, Adam and Mary.

Shirley was predeceased by her two brothers; Eddie (Lillian) and Harold (Cecile). She is survived by her only sister Teresa Gillies (Jimmy).

A sincere heartfelt thank you to the staff at Cassellholme for the care and compassion Mom received and for your kindness to mom and our entire family. We shall always be deeply grateful.

Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday April 7th, 2018 from 1 – 3 pm and 5 pm until the funeral service in the chapel at 7pm.
