Beckett, Velma Cecilia (nee Libbey)

Passed away peacefully on July 23, 2015 at the Mattawa Hospital at the age of 85 years. She was the loving wife of the late Walter. Velma was the cherished mother of Brian (Annette) and Glenda Heath (Eric). She was the adoring grandmother of her grandchildren Ivan, Tracy, Penny and Mandy and her great-grandchildren Gary, Logan, Devin, Parker and Matthew. Velma is predeceased by her parents Ernest and May (Cameron), her son Gary, her brothers Reginald, Arnold, Armor, Mark, Gerald, Melvin, infant sister and sisters Zeitha Barrer and Alda Pellerin. Her family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday July 26, 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Monday July 27th at 11am. Interment at Calvin Union Cemetery will follow.
