Champagne, Yvonne Aurelie (nee Devost)- died quietly in her sleep on March 14, 2017 in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband, Telesphore Champagne. She leaves behind her daughter; Corinne Champagne- Giroux ( Robert Vaillancourt) and son; Marc Champagne (Sherri MacLean) Cherished grandma of 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Victor Devost (Francine). She will be sadly missed by her long-time friend; Marguerite Thompson, her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents; Regis and Aurelie (nee Morasse) and her sisters; Therese Throop and Rollande Guillemette. Yvonne was a devout Christian, she prayed for her family and her community. She was the owner/operator of Y. Champagne Bus Lines for over 35 years. She loved doing crafts; she was a CWL member for many years and was a member of the Golden Age Club and Four Seasons Club (Corbeil). Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday March 19th, 2017 from 2 – 4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacre Coeur on Monday March 20, 2017 at 10:30 am. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Senior, Dr. Saunders,the nurses and staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
