It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother at Cassellholme Home for the Aged surrounded by her family on February 25, 2018 at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband Albert Buckner. Loving mother of Cecile Towers (Bill-predeceased), Henri Buckner (Leona), Rachel Buckner-Giroux (Yvan), Marcel Buckner (Claudette), Odile Martin (Leo), Yvette Loeffen, Laurette Degagne (Ray), Helene Buckner (Rick Spencer), Denis Buckner (Vivianne), Therese Ayotte (Raymond Champagne),Diane Latulippe (Robert) and Suzanne Gravelle (Daniel). Cherished grandma of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great –great grandchildren. Dear sister of Odile St. Jean and sister-in-law of Simone Truchon. Yvonne will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents; Joseph and Anne Pilon and her daughter Lucille. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday March 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Vincent-de-Paul on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the nursing staff on Maple and to Dr. Prins at Cassellholme for their exceptional care and compassion shown to our mother and family.
