Antoinette (Zilinski) McAuliffe

Antoinette passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward McAuliffe (2015). Loving mother to Julie McAuliffe, Barb (Dan) Mellish, Ron (Jane) McAuliffe and Jim (Renee) McAuliffe. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nancy (Steve), Andrew (Kaylee), Brandon, Brent (Megan), Kaia, Caelan and her great-grandchildren Ashley, Katie, Araya and Logan.  Antoinette was a Nurse at St. Josephs Hospital in North Bay until her retirement. Predeceased by her grandchild Jeffrey, her parents Andrew and Julia (nee Grescoe) Zilinski. and her siblings John Zilinski  (Ivy -deceased), Ron Zilinski (Doris -deceased) and Marie Gan(John-deceased). Antoinette valued her time with nursing colleagues at St. Joseph’s Hospital and enjoyed spending time in her garden in her retirement. In an effort to flatten the curve in regards to Covid -19 the family have made the decision to hold off all public services at this time. The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Nurses and Staff of D3 and to Dr. Trenker for their care and compassion towards Antoinette and the family.
