Carl Lewis Holotuk

Holotuk, Carl Lewis (April 23,1923 - April 13, 2021) 

Carl Lewis Holotuk, a decorated World War ll veteran, peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 13, 2021 in his 98th year. Lew was known to many as “Lewie the Hook”. He will be forever missed by his beloved wife Mary Holotuk (nee Barton). Cherished father to Ronald (Lori), Patsy Aitchison and Ted (Penny). He will be missed and always remembered by his  8 grandchildren and as well by his 16 great grandchildren. Lew is predeceased by his parents Peter Holotuk and Rosina Holotuk (nee Kuehni). Lew is survived by his siblings Allan (Florence), Adele (late George) Switzer and Steve (Vi) Holotuk as well as by his sister-in-law Eileen Lamb (late Wilbert) and brother-in-law Gilles (late Rose) Charbonneau. Carl is also predeceased by his siblings Gordon (Emily), Art (Jean), Edna (Fred), Anne (Alvin), Lillian (Harry, Paul) and Dan (Grace) his in-laws Eva Piper (Ken), Seymour (Jessie), Harold (Luella), Abbie, Mervin (Elizabeth), Elmer (Beatrice), Harry (Lillian) and Lloyd Barton. Cremation will occur at Whispering Pines Funeral Home and a graveside burial in Restoule will take place at a later date.
