Jessica Mary (Strood) Degagne

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jessica, surrounded by the love of her family at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Monday March 13, 2023, at the age of 33 years.  Jessica was the beloved wife of Dan Degagne and the loving mother to Avianna, Hayden, and Vanessa Degagne.  She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Justin Strood (Marissa) and her sister-in law Celine Degagne (Taylor). She is survived by her parents Kevin Strood and Johanne (nee Proulx) Strood as well as her father and mother-in-law Marcel and Raymond Degagne. As per Jessica’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life for Jessica will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at the East Ferris Community Centre (1257 Village Rd, in Astorville), from 1-4 p.m. Please come and join us in honoring her memory. If desired, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully Acknowledged by Jessica’s family.  Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
