Joseph "Joe" Veilleux Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph (Joe) Veilleux announce his passing on September 24th, 2022, at the age of 79 at Nipissing Manor in Corbeil.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosline (Lapointe) and his two children Eric and Patricia (Randy Gravelle).  He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Erika, Jacob and Emily, as well as his great grandchildren Jackson and Forrest. He leaves behind beautiful memories in the hearts of his siblings: Jean-Louis (Marielle), Lionel, Denise, Suzanne as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Joe is predeceased by his parents: Emile and Alice (Fortier), his siblings: Conrad and Micheline as well as his loving son Luc.

He is remembered as a distinguished man who is honest, fair, hard-working, industrious and loves his family with every ounce of his being. Joe believed in hard work and common sense. He believed in his family and their ability to accomplish anything; he gave the gift of self-assurance and determination to all who had the privilege to know and especially work with him.

Here is to a life well lived doing the things he loved most  such as spending time with his family, boating, traveling, and playing golf but anyone who knew him will tell you that working was his idea of a pastime most preferred.

The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday October 8, 2022, between the hours of 10 am. and 11am. A Celebration of Joe’s life will follow at 11am in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel.
