Lionel Joseph St.Jean

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lionel Joseph St. Jean on Saturday January 18, 2020 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 75. Loving father to Darlene Dagenais (Kevin) and Sandra St. Jean. Lionel will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Kristianna (Josh), Nathan (Alex) and Danica as well as his great grand children Kloé and Kayslee. Lionel was predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Louise (née Groulx) St. Jean, and his sister Fernande Ledoux. He is survived by his siblings Diane Rakebrandt (Gary) and Don St. Jean (Tammy). Lionel will be greatly remembered for his love of the outdoors, as he was often found ice fishing and hunting. He was also a dedicated carpenter building many homes in the Astorville area. In keeping with Lionel’s wishes cremation will occur at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium with no public services. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff on C3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their outstanding care and compassion.
