Robert Burton Fairbridge

Fairbridge- Robert Burton, was born June 15, 1943 and peacefully left us on June 25, 2020.
Dad believed in people and inspired those around him to see themselves as he saw them. An adventurer, a mountaineer, a sailor, Dad was all these things, but the titles he wore most proud were husband, father, grandpa, and friend. 
Deeply loved and forever missed by his wife Joan, daughters Kristi (Andrew), Julie (Dan), son Rob (Darcy), his grand daughter Emily and his seven grandsons. 
Cherishing their memories with him are Jan (Dan), Josh, Ashley, Zelda and Loki. 
Dad brought out the best in all who were lucky enough to know him. A positive word or an inspirational quote, he believed  that ” whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right (Henry Ford). This is how he lived. 
He inspired us to be the best we could be and he loved us unconditionally. The ripple effects of this great man and his impact on the world will never truly be known. We will love and miss him always.
