It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Robert ‘Bob’ Dufresne on November 26, 2021, at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by his wife Martha Dufresne (nee Umbach). Loving father of Carole Richter (Jeremy). Cherished grandfather of Asha Eek (Joel), Farryn Ironside (Mike) and great grandchildren; Caden, Kayley, Isla and Nora. Dear brother of Alice, Ben, Larry,  and Ralph. Sadly, missed by his sister-in-law Erica Wettlaufer, nieces, and nephew in Germany. Predeceased by his parents; Edgar and Laudivine Dufresne, his sister Diane and brother Gerry.

Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday December 2, 2021, from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 1:15 pm. Donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be gratefully appreciated by his family. In keeping with current COVID-19 directives the total number of attendees is limited, proof of vaccination, social distancing requirements must be respected, and masks or face coverings are required inside the funeral home.
