Ventura "Vince" Castiglione

Peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, July 29th, 2022. Ventura was born in Spezzano Della Sila, Italy on June 20th,1935. Devoted husband to Marietta Castiglione (nee Bitonti, predeceased). Loving father and greatest supporter of Maria (husband Kevin), Vito (wife Nathalie), Paola (husband Ricky), and Franco. Ventura’s proudest moments were spent with his grandchildren Alexandra, Kristen, Matthew, Carlie, twins Kara and Lia, Jacob, Myella and Isabella. We will all miss our gentle giant dearly.

His work ethic was inspired by the standard of success that you always did your best and therefore, to always be proud of what you did. The focus of his life was his family and placing their needs before his own. He was happiest surrounded by his grandchildren and sharing his chicken cutlets. His warm smile showed true love. In the dark sky of his passing, his light will continue to shine brightly, guiding and inspiring his children and grandchildren on their life's journeys.

Cherished son of Vito and Maria Castiglione (predeceased). Beloved brother to Flora, Rosa, Chiarenza, Raffaella (predeceased), Francesco, and Wladimiro. Sam Guido, his childhood best friend, will miss him dearly.

Family will be receiving friends at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Thursday, August 4th at 9:30 am prior to the funeral mass, being held at 10:30 am.  Entombment at the All-Saints Mausoleum will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donation to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
