Dear Mr. Eide,

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all the help provided by you and your team after our mother died.

The death of a mother who valiantly raised her three children after her spouse died in his 30's, leaves her survivors with sad hearts and the task of trying to craft a funeral service suitable to remember her life and sacrifices. Our mother's generation was not one to discuss such future events and their wishes, which left us somewhat adrift.

We sincerely appreciate your help in preparing a service in remembrance of our mother. There were so many decisions to make but we never felt rushed or judged in our decisions. With family already in North Bay , some as far away as Vancouver, and trying to be with mom before her death, it then became an issue to try and plan the funeral in a tight time frame so that the small family could all be present.

Your help in arranging for father Gilles on short notice, the cremation, publishing the obituary, the funeral home facilities, and the use of the chapel at St. Mary's ensured that as many family members as possible could be present to pay their respects to our mother.
