Anita Joron Obituary

Anita (Larochelle) Joron

April 4 1935-October 23 2019 Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center.

Daughter of Jerry and Marie-Donne Larochelle (deceased).   Predeceased by her husband Henry (Habby) Joron,  sister Bertha (Earl) Sullivan and brother Raymond Larochelle.

Beloved Aunt to Ron (Jeannie) Sullivan and their children Randy (Linda) Sullivan, Tammy (Tim) McBride & Cathy (Greg) Richardson; Sandra Sullivan (deceased), Sheryl (Peter – deceased) Lazaridis and their children John (Kimberley) Lazaridis & Sandra (Jake) Redmond; Judy Sullivan and her children Beverly Hudson and Lawrence Hudson; and many great-great nieces and nephews.

She will also be dearly missed by her husband’s siblings;  Hector (Lois) Joron, Ron Joron (Carol), Irene (Don) West, Teresa Chapell, Cecile (Keith) Hammell, Pauline (Linus) MacDonald, and Judy (Butch) Clement. Predeceased are Art (Mary) Joron,  Rita Ranney, and Judy Joron.

Auntie Anita was an independent, feisty lady who loved her home and loved to shop.  The shopping channel is going to miss her midnight phone calls for orders.  She was a woman who always looked good and had the jewelry to match any outfit.  Anita did not like people making a fuss and truly kept her life very simple while keeping up with her many nieces, nephews and her husband Habby’s siblings.  A pot of baked beans was her food legacy and could be counted on for all family dinners.

Auntie Anita was in fairly good health until the last couple of months.  Losing her brother Raymond this summer,  who lived across the street, weighed heavy on her heart…almost literally.  She attempted to get back home during her illness and when that didn’t go well her response was “well I gave it a go”.  She remained positive and in control until her last day.

The family is most grateful for the guidance from Drs Riley and Truong.

Family and friends are invited to attend a prayer service at 1: 30 pm on Wednesday October 30th, 2019 at All Saints Mausoleum, followed by a burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
