It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Annette Johnston on February 6, 2018 at Bay Haven Senior Care Community in Collingwood, Ontario at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband; Harold Johnston. Loving mother of Donna Lane Dufresne (Vincent-predeceased), Barbara Merrily Schiavone (Michael) and Elaine Johnston-Brown (Ken). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jacques Pilon (Ghislaine), Paulette Burman and Claudette Giroux (Emile).  Annette will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents; Leandre and Fidelia Pilon (nee Mallette) and by her siblings; Reverend Fernand, Jean-Guy, Gaetan, Roger, Yvette St. Pierre and Agathe Groulx. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday February 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Monday February 12, 2018 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
