To Christine's family, there are no words to express this sadness you all feel . I was very sad to hear of Christine's death. Over the years, we would see each other at the grocery store or just run into each other. We shared a friendship that began long ago in Chibougamau. Christine and Lynn Boulanger stood by me and supported me when I ran for President of the Student council ( Holy Family High). Christine believed in me and supported me and stood by me. She was my good high school friend. We shared our joys and sorrows and a bond that only comes from open hearts and love . Chibougamau days were precious times for all of us. I was thinking just the other day , that I had not seen Christine lately ! Hana, your mom was a beautiful woman inside and out and you will miss her. I was blessed to have had a high school friend so precious to me and brief encounters here in North Bay will never be forgotten... Let your memories through your tears be a comfort during this time of sadness. From Heather McCormick McGuinty.

My sympathy to her family. I went to school with Christina in Chibougamau. Though we haven't been in contact for many years, I have very fond memories of her!

Our hearts go out to the family and close ones. We had lost touched for so many years, but beautiful memories of Christine always came up in conversations with any of the Chibougamau Holy Family School gang. We shall keep a special place in our hearts for her, and be assured that we are sending you love & energy to pull through this difficult time....from Waldi, Carol & Mary Korczynski
