Claudette passed away peacefully at the West Nipissing General Hospital on Friday August 24, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of John LeRoy. Loving mother to Yves Boyer (Lisa), Lynn Boyer, Danny Boyer and Chantal LeRoy (Paul). Proud grandmother, and great grandmother. Claudette was predeceased by her parents Emery and Ernestine (nee Lajoie) Bastien, and her brother Rene Bastien. In keeping with Claudette’s wishes cremation will occur. The family will receive visitors for a memorial gathering at the McGuinty Funeral Home-Sturgeon Falls (123 Railway Street) on Friday August 31, 2018 from 11am to 1pm. A Celebration of Claudette’s Life will follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. In keeping with one of Claudette’s great passions in life if desired donations to the West Nipissing Food Bank would be gratefully acknowledged.
