FORTH, Daniel James

Surrounded by his family and in the comfort of their home Dan died peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 70.  Dan was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend and colleague, who will forever be in the hearts of so many.  Dan had a wonderful and inspirational marriage of 49 years to his life partner, best friend and wife Christine, together they raised two daughters Shelly and Sandy. Dan will be deeply missed by his two "Buddies" and sons-in-law Ray Maki and Angus Macdonald.  "Papa" will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by his four grandchildren; Allysha, Austin, Dylan (Madison) and Bailey who were the light of his life and always brought a smile to his face and a twinkle to his eye.  Predeceased by his father, Douglas, he will be sadly missed by his mother Vivian, siblings, Dale and his wife Bernie and Patti and her husband Bob Graham.  Friends and Family may call at the McGuinty Funeral Home, (87 Lansdowne Street, Callander) from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Friday, January 18, 2019.  Funeral Service in the Chapel 11am on Saturday, January 19, 2019.  In Danny's memory donations may be made to The Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Nosbonsing branch.
