I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs Shaw for many years. I always enjoyed seeing her out on her patio enjoying the sunshine. She always had a smile on her face and a zest for life.

The last time I saw aunt Dolly in September 2015 she and my mother Pearl (Dolly's sister) were bidding each other a last farewell with a mutual "We'll meet again." Now they have in heaven. Dolly was always good to me in Noranda. Many are the suppers I had at the Shaws on my way home from school. She was a very good curler and golfer. I will remember her fondly. May she rest in peace.
