It is with profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Donald Dokis at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on July 24, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Loving father of Carol-Ann Dokis and Charlene Dokis (Todd Elliott). Cherished grandfather of Brandyn Dokis, Shane Bourton, Jaedyn Dokis and great grandfather of Tyson and Hailey Dokis. Dear brother of Mervin Dokis (Carol Ellam) and Betty Dickson (Jim). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Nellie Dokis (nee Stevens). Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday July 30, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday July 31th, 2019 at 10 am. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
