Peacefully passed away at Cassellholme Home for the Aged at the age of 65 years. Loving father of Shayla Brunet and Michelle Quinn (Stuart). Cherished grandfather of Taylor Brunet and Evan Quinn. Eugene will be sadly missed by his sisters; Doreen Bellaire (Jerry-predeceased), Marie Stevens (Wayne Derrah-predeceased) and by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Damase Edgar Legault and Delina Commanda-Legault and his brothers Robie Stevens (Suzanne Stratton) and Arthur Stevens. Eugene loved life, he was kind and had a wonderful sense of humour. He was once asked by his grade 3 teacher “ What makes the world go around”, his response was “LOVE makes the world go around” he travelled Canada with different bands and locally was the drummer for ‘Mama’s Little Helpers’ and ‘Icabod Crane’. He had a zest for life and lived his life to the fullest, he loved to garden with his friend Barb. A spring burial in the Garden Village Cemetery will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the staff at Cassellholme and Dr. Prins for their loving care and compassion shown to Eugene.
