DOUCETTE, Evelyn Theresa (nee Woodbury)

Evelyn passed away on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre surrounded by her family at the age of 84 years. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Doucette. Loving mother to Debbie  Doucette (Al), Elaine Doucette (Claude),  Jack Doucette (Nadine), Greg Doucette (Twyla), Brian Doucette (Madelaine), and Cheryl McMillan (Dave). Grandmother to Angela (Bradley), Ryan (Agata), Amy (David), Colin (Hillary), Emma, Samantha, Olivia and Serena. Great grandmother to Benjamin, Annia, Amelia Mae and Luiza. Predeceased by her parents William and Helen (nee Decaire) Woodbury, and brothers Verl, and Thomas and her sisters Marilyn Woodbury and June Guerin. Evelyn is survived by her brother Brad Woodbury (Paulette), and her sisters Doris Evans and Ethel Brazeau. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday February 6, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. If desired donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by Evelyn’s family. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Unit of the North Bay Regional Health Centre, to Dr. Chuck Cuncins, and all Evelyn’s Personal Support Workers especially Tracy for their care and compassion over the years.
