Evelyn Emma (Boyce) Sargent

Evelyn passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at the Waters Edge Care Community at the age of 87 years. Beloved mother to Mark Sargent (Mariette St Amant), of New Liskeard and Jane Sargent Nodwell (Bruce ) of North Bay. Cherished grandmother to Dustin of San Diego and Shane (Lara) of Calgary, and great grandmother to Chloe. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents William and Philomene Boyce, partner Jack McKnight and daughter-in-law Carol Norton-Sargent. She is survived by her sister Bella Bates (Stan), and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in Alberta. The family wishes to express their heart felt gratitude to all the nurses and staff of Pier 1 at Waters Edge for their care and compassion over the past three years. In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes a private family service will held at a later date. If desired donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged.
