Garry passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at the age of 55 years. Garry was the beloved husband of Veronica, and the loving father of Patrick and Jessica. Garry will certainly be missed by his four-legged companions Gertrude and Selena. He was predeceased by his parents George Thomas and Georgette Marguerite (nee Turgeon) Doughty and his brother Michael Orlow (Linda-surviving), Garry is survived by his brothers Ken Orlow (Louise) and Richard Orlow, and his sisters Linda Burgess (Randy) and Christine Felske (Bob). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends along with his extended family Grant, Denise and Greg Burton. In keeping with Garry’s wishes, cremation has take place at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes. Family will receive visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday March 30, 2019 from 4-6 pm. The family wishes to express their appreciation and thank you to Dr. Edie, Dr.”Matt”, Dr. Vaughan, and all the wonderful Nurses and Staff on B3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their exemplary care and compassion they provided to Garry. If desired donations are suggested to Canadian Liver Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
