It is with great sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Gerome Romano at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on May 6, 2019 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by his wife Beryl Romano. Dearly loved father of Vivian Romano and William Romano (Marlene). Cherished grandpa of Stuart Campaigne (Katie), Neal Campaigne (Erin) and great grandpa of Jade and Gage. Dear brother of Paul (Jenny) and Virginia Sidorchuk (Daniel). Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Benedetta Romano and by his siblings. Gerome worked for Ontario Hydro for many years, he was hardworking and spent time working in Nigeria and Africa. He was a devout Catholic- attending Corpus Christi and Holy Name of Jesus. He was involved with the Knights of Columbus 4th degree and an ex choir member. Beryl and Gerome enjoyed travelling and together saw most of the world. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday May 9th, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus on Friday May 10th, 2019 at 10:30 am. Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
